This year for the Easter menu Grifo Marchetti offers you… The sauce with meatballs!
This recipe has the particularity of being super versatile and tasty! To prepare it you will need:
• 200 grams of beef.
• 200 grams of pork.
• Two tablespoons of parmesan cheese.
• Two tablespoons of breadcrumbs.
• Two eggs.
• Two tablespoons of tomato paste.
• 700 ml of tomato puree.
• An onion.
• Two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
• Two basil leaves.
• Salt q.b.
• Pepper q.b.
First of all, take the beef and pork and grind it thanks to the meat grinders of Grifo Marchetti.
Next, take your minced meat and put it in a bowl then adding: the grana, breadcrumbs, eggs and a pinch of salt and pepper; now mix it all up.
In a pan sauté with oil and onion and then add the tomato puree, which you can make at home thanks to our tomato squeezers, tomato paste, a little salt and pepper; and bring to a boil.
Take back your meat dough, form balls with your hands and put them in your pan, add the basil leaves, and a little salt and pepper to taste.
Cook for 40-45 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
And here it is, your sauce with meatballs ready to be enjoyed in the company of your friends and relatives!
