Therefore, an extremely popular winter beer, which sees the use of an aged Lambic with the addition of sugar, cinnamon, cloves and beaten eggs. A recipe to which the current hot beers refer, whose starting point is usually a Kriek, or a beer produced with small Schaarbeek cherries called, in fact, kriek.

So how do you prepare this beer brulé?

The ingredients are:

  • 1 liter of beer
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • half nutmeg
  • 8 cloves
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 berry of black pepper
  • ¼ of lemon or orange peel
  • 150 grams of sugar or honey

First, flavor the beer with the spices, cut into pieces: cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, star anise, making any variations to your taste and liking. Heat everything by bringing it to a boil, then reduce the heat and let the infusion proceed for 10 minutes.
