The meatloaf recipe: let’s find out with Grifo Marchetti!

Christmas is approaching and it’s time to plan the menu for the big Christmas dinner. Today, together with Grifo Marchetti, we will show you one of the most famous recipes of the Christmas period: the meatloaf, which thanks to our mincers has never been so easy to prepare!
Let’s start with the ingredients:
• 600g beef
• 200g fresh bread (crumb only)
• 200g whole milk
• 400g sausage
• 150g pecorino cheese
• 110g eggs (2 medium eggs)
•Nutmeg
• Salt and pepper
• Extra virgin olive oil

Let’s start by placing the bread and milk in a bowl, in order to soften the bread. Meanwhile, insert the beef into the meat mincer and pass it a first time, then add the sausage to obtain a uniform mixture. Then add the pecorino cheese, eggs, soaked bread and add with thyme, salt and pepper as you like.
At this point, hands to work! Knead and create the typical shape of the meatloaf, brush with oil and bake in a preheated oven at 180° for 80-90 minutes.
